At Paddabult Country House we offer the discerning guest a tranquil and comfortable stay in any of our rooms and we pride ourselves in personal service, ensuring attention to detail. Set on 55 hectares with its own vineyards, orchards, dam and river, it offers wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation in a sympathetically converted former packing shed for fruit produced on the  Bloemendal farm.

The spacious dining room with its wide verandahs, pool bar and gigantic swimming pool are at the center of things. After enjoying our delicious breakfast, hot "to order" served either in the dining room or on the verandah, laze on the deck under an umbrella at the sparkling pool during the long summer days or curl up with a glass of good red wine in front of a cozy log fire in winter.

For the more energetic there is plenty to do locally - ranging from wine and food tasting at the many wine estates in the valley - to golf, fly fishing, horseback and bicycle riding - all of which we can arrange for you. There is also the simple option of a little retail therapy on the high street. At the end of the day enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace outside your room  while watching the sunset, before a memorable dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in the village.
