Also a great thank you for the most comfortable stay over at Paddabult. You were correct, Gideon is a lovely person and a great host. He entertained us at the bar for most of Saturday afternoon which was most enjoyable. Nadia and the support staff also ensure that the guests want for nothing and feel special. They laid on a light lunch for us which was most welcome to tide us over until dinner time. Greg and I went for dinner at Dutch East which Nadia recommended and we were most impressed with the service and food. As for the service and breakfast at Paddabult, it was very good and the meal was scrumptious.

'n Groot en spesiale dankie aan Gideon en sy span wat ons wittebrood ongelooflik spesiaal gemaak het. Die gasvryheid is ongelooflik! Dis 'n pragtige plek wat meer bied as waarvoor jy kan vra. Die omgewing is pragtig! Ek en Malherbe kom verseker terug!!!

Baie dankie vir die ongelooflike tyd daar by julle. Ek het lanklaas soveel gasvryheid in 'n plek ontvang! George was GREAT en regtig baie opreg en net vrek nice. Al die staff, ROBERT en die ander girls daar in kombuis is vreeslik aanganaam gewees...en ek het die 2 honde gelove!
Dankie aan George en sy team wat ons 1ste nag as MAN&VROU so lekker romanties in die kamer gemaak het...ons het dit sooo waardeer.
Jenni jy is 'n great gasvrou!!!
Julle sal ons verseker weer sien.

If you’re looking for out-of-town country accommodation over World Cup period. Great for groups, too.
It’s a stunning Country Hotel + Self-Catering Cottages located on a wine farm near Franschhoek,
and their rates are excellent.

The weekend we spent at Paddabult was, without a doubt, one to be remembered. The breathtaking views, tranquil surroundings and the outstanding hospitality of Gideon and his team made our stay most enjoyable. Special thanks goes to George "The Braai Master" who not only provided interesting conversation, but also was sure to make sure that all guests were as comfortable as possible.
We will certainly recommend Paddabult to all our friends and hopefully will be back again for another visit ourselves.

We have just returned to The 'cold, grey and dreary' Netherlands following our tenth anniversary honeymoon which included two nights at Paddabult.
Wonderful location, wonderful accommodation (great shower), wonderful hosts, wonderful food and hospitality.
Wish we could have stayed longer and have already started saving for a return visit!

We only stayed for one night in the country house. I wish it could have been longer. Our room was lush. Breakfast was great. Gideon was great and spent some time giving us tips on what to do as we made our way down to the garden route.
Definately my favourite accommodation in the whole 2 weeks that we stayed in South Africa.

Firstly, what an amazing place Paddabult is - so relaxing, peaceful, tidy and friendly. Everything you would want for a truly wonderful stay. Secondly, the organisation and booking for a group of 30 people, was handled in the most professional manner without any complications, thank you so very much. Every single guest was impressed by your beautiful country house, the facilities and also the delicious breakfast the following morning.
I can recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking for comfort, 5 star service and the most friendly of people who are only looking to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Dan and I will be back, not necessarily with 28 friends this time around…… perhaps for a romantic night just for ourselves.

Verder kan ek julle komplimenteer met ‘n mooi en netjiese “venue”, tafels het “classy” gelyk, die kos was puik (lekkerste skaapkop wat ek in ‘n lang tyd geëet het), die diens was eersteklas en julle mense vriendelik en behulpsaam. Skaapkop Ete October 2009 |
